Rules & Regulations JK Agira, z. s.
1. BASIC RULES
Entry to the Riding Club (JK) is allowed only for members of the riding club, participants of riding lessons, or recreational riders with prior agreement from an authorized person. All others may enter only with the consent of the instructor.
Upon arrival at the JK, every person must report to the instructor or an authorized person, and follow their instructions.
Access to unauthorized areas is prohibited.
Dogs are allowed only on a leash.
It is forbidden to feed, pet, or startle the animals.
Smoking and handling fire are strictly prohibited throughout the JK area.
2. HORSE CARE
You may approach horses only in the presence of an instructor or the horse's owner. Entering paddocks or the riding arena without these persons or their authorization is prohibited – risk of injury!
While handling horses in the pasture areas, you must behave calmly – do not run, shout, or otherwise scare the horses. Feeding horses without the owner's consent is forbidden.
Before approaching a horse, you must call out to the horse clearly and usually approach from its left side. Never approach from behind in open areas. If necessary, call out firmly first.
During training and care, maintain a safe distance – either stand close to the horse or far enough to avoid kicks or bites. Access to horses without the knowledge of the authorized person, or instructor is not allowed.
When you tack horses (grooming, saddling), all horses must be tied with a halter at designated spots – never by the bridle.
Only one person may lead a horse at a time.
3. RIDING LESSONS, EQUIPMENT, HORSEBACK RIDING, INJURY RISK
Training is supervised by an instructor, coach, or an authorized person (hereinafter referred to as "coach").
Before starting the ride, both participants and the coach must check the saddle and tack. If a participant notices any defect, they must report it to the coach immediately.
Lessons take place in the outdoor arena in all weather conditions.
Riders must wear appropriate clothing (based on the weather) and protective gear.
Every rider must wear a quality helmet with a three-point harness and gloves. It is also recommended to wear flexible riding pants or a long-sleeved sweater, and a safety vest (mandatory for riders under 16 years old).
Wearing necklaces, chains, bracelets, large rings, or any items that can catch on the horse's tack is forbidden.
Riding in sandals, high-heeled shoes, or boots with zippers on the inside is not allowed.
The weight limit for riders is 80 kg.
We accept children for individual lessons from 5 years old, and for group lessons from 7 years old.
All participants must behave considerately towards horses, other riders, bystanders, and the natural environment.
We recommend that participants, regular riders, caretakers, owners, and others involved in JK activities be vaccinated against tetanus and have accident insurance.
Do not disturb or interact with riders during lessons.
New participants who have trained or ridden elsewhere must inform the coach of their true skill level.
Riding and training are done at the participant's own risk.
